Back 4 Blood PC Trailer Showcases 4K, Nvidia DLSS Support (VIDEO)

Back 4 Blood PC

Following the game’s recent appearance at E3 2021, the upcoming zombie-FPS Back 4 Blood is back for, well, blood with an all-new trailer focused on PC. As one might expect, this version of the game comes with a heft of upgraded features, including support for 4K resolution, uncapped framerate, Nvidia DLSS, as well as ultrawide and multi-monitor setups. The title is also touting cross-play functionality and multiple quality customization options for that added layer of choice on PC. Check out the trailer below.

Acting as a successor to the long-dormant Left 4 Dead series, developer Turtle Rock Studios formally announced Back 4 Blood just over a year ago, offering a modern-gen spin on the classic undead-hunting gameplay. While initially set for release in 2020, the game has since endured a several-month delay, though, not without series of nice reveals in the meantime. Last month notably presented a first look at the game’s intense PvP mode called Swarm, which offers the means to operate a playable Ridden enemy.

While there are still a few months until Back 4 Blood releases, PC and console players will soon have an opportunity to play as part of an open beta session next month. Opening August 5th, players that pre-ordered the game will have first dibs, while a second session begins August 12th for those who register on the official beta website. Upon launch, Back 4 Blood is also confirmed to be available on day one across Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.

Back 4 Blood releases October 12th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
