New Apex Legends Champion Seer Revealed For Season 10 (VIDEO)
Apex Legends has done very well as a free-to-play battle royale, giving fans a wide array of interesting characters with their own stories and reasons for joining the Apex Games. The most recent release to the roster was a character named Valkyrie who is able to take to the skies as her father once did, a reference to the iconic Titanfall 2. Now, a new champion has emeged under the codename Seer and will offer what appears to be a more scout-like gameplay similar to fellow legends Crypto, Bloodhound, or Pathfinder.
A new Stories From the Outlands video shows a small teaser of the character and his “Metamorphosis.” A small blurb teasing his story an abilities, reads: “A bad omen cast a shadow over Obi’s birth: will his light survive and emerge from the darkness?” Seer’s abilities weren’t named or really shown in the trailer but a recent update to the Apex Legends website reveals they’ll have something to do with microdrones that appear from an attachment on his chest. It’ll be interesting to see just what Seer brings to the table in Apex Legends as well as the various new content arriving in the next season; which includes a new LMG called Rampage, various map changes coming to the World’s Edge, and more.
The 10th season of Apex Legends, Emergence is set to arrive on August 3rd for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. As of now, Seer is expected to arrive alongside the next season’s launch, but details are not yet confirmed. On the bright side, Respawn has promised to reveal more about the character, as well as Apex Legends: Emergence, during the upcoming EA Play Live event on July 22nd.
