Babylon’s Fall Receives New Trailer And Developer Interview (VIDEO)

Babylon's Fall

It’s been years since Babylon’s Fall was originally announced and there’s been very little news about the upcoming title since. This year’s E3 however has changed that, with the Square Enix Presents presentation bringing with it a new trailer and information concerning the hack and slash co-op adventure. Confirmation that the title is still alive and kicking is certainly wonderful news, though only time will tell whether the long-awaited title will be a major hit.

The new trailer looks interesting enough, featuring a giant tower that players will head into to face off against a variety of puzzles, enemies, and more. The whole premise appears very similar to ones that have been told before where adventurers embark on a journey through a massive tower seeking riches and glory as they defeat each floor. The game was designed to have a high fantasy look blended with classic European styles, which certainly makes for an interesting aesthetic. Check out the new trailer below:

The developers also took some time to talk about Babylon’s Fall, explaining that on top of the game being a 4-person cooperative title, it will also feature a live-service model. The plan is to maintain a strong tie to the player base, finding out what works and what doesn’t to help continuously improve upon the game. The developer interview in its entirety can be viewed here:

There is no release date set for Babylon’s Fall but the title has been confirmed for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Are you interested in what the future may hold for the upcoming title?
