Behind the Scenes of ARK PARK, a Virtual Reality Experience (VIDEO)

Chances are at this point you’ve heard of, played, or at least seen clips of Ark: Survival Evolved: a somewhat newer survival game that lets players explore and survive in a land filled with magnificent creatures and dinosaurs. Well if you’ve ever thought to yourself, “Man it would be cool to see some virtual reality dinosaurs,” then Snail Games has got what your looking for. As a Virtual Reality (VR) spin-off of Studio Wildcard’s game’s Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark Park is a virtual reality game that puts players into an environment somewhat similar to a Jurassic Park type experience.

ARK Park is an immersive VR experience that brings to life a world where living, breathing dinosaurs are still roaming the earth. Players embark on an exciting tour of this ancient time, interacting and witnessing hundreds of dinosaurs up-close and personal.

The first official trailer for the VR game released about 3 months ago and within the last few days Ark Park has released, a second trailer showing an inside look at the creative process behind the game’s development. From taking photos of the real world, to importing and molding a virtual platform for players to enjoy a totally immersive experience, the developers at Snail Games are hard at work trying to create the best possible experience for their players.

Experience a highly advanced learning center full of information about the creatures you will be witnessing. Or you can go out and explore the environment for yourself an look at all the magnificent prehistoric creatures. There is also rumor that there will be an option to import creatures from Ark: Survival Evolved, but no specific detail has been verified yet. Either way, if you are interested in a virtual experience involving dinosaurs, this game looks pretty sweet.

As fans of Ark: Survival Evolved, we are excited to see what comes of this new endeavor with Ark Park’s virtual dinosaur exploration and theme park-like setting. The game is set to be available for the Oculus, Playstation VR, Vive, and Steam VR, and is set for release sometime this year.
