Adventure Time: Distant Lands Episode 2 Gets New Title Art
The final season of Adventure Time released back in 2018, wrapping up the adventures of Finn and Jake, but the Land of Ooo is vast and wide. While the main series is no longer running, that isn’t stopping showrunners from working on expanding the Land of Ooo. A new series of special episodes are currently in the works featuring various characters on their own adventures. So far, only one episode has arrived showcasing the adventures of BMO, though some new title art has arrived for the upcoming second episode featuring Princess Bubblegum and Marceline.
The Adventure Time: Distant Lands specials are a series of stories surrounding various characters within the universe. The second of four hour-long specials is called Obsidian and will follow Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum as they travel to the Glass Kingdom in hopes of stopping a catastrophe. During a recent panel at this year’s Comic-Con@Home Livestream, it was revealed that the pair would meet up with a character by the name of Glassboy who was described as an “amped up” Finn and will be the one who instigates Princess Bubblegum and Marceline into action. The episode will really dig into the pair and their relationship with each other, with Glassboy as their catalyst for discussion.
Fans are currently able to view the first of the Adventure Time: Distant Lands episodes now on HBO Max while the second episode has yet to see a release date.
