A new report has revealed that the voice actor for Dante in Capcom’s Devil May Cry series, Reuben Langdon, was recently shot at while filming in Guatemala. He thankfully escaped unscathed, proving once again that Dante is in fact bulletproof. Langdon was in Guatemala with Steve Copeland while filming a documentary called Vision of the Ages when a gunman came up to their vehicle and attempted to open the passenger door. Reacting to the attempted carjacking, the driver took off and drove away, though the gunman fired roughly six shots before the car was out of range.

The news comes by way of Resetera, which shared a video that Copeland had posted showing the damage done to the vehicle. According to Copeland, multiple shots hit the back of the car, and three shots were fired into the passenger side as the car drove away. Langdon was reportedly almost hit, as he “felt shit” hit him from the inside of the car as the door was shot. The video can be seen below:

“The message we’re bringing forward is both ancient and from the future,” Copeland wrote in the post that accompanied his video. “Now is the time when we come together as one human family to restore our shared home, regenerate and see peace materialize on earth. Some people don’t want this happen, but it’s predestined and will happen regardless of their attempts to keep it from happening.” Langdon on the other hand went with levity to lighten the mood, sharing the below image on Twitter:

Thankfully everyone got away unscathed (save for the car), as things could’ve gone much, much worse. Devil May Cry 5 releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 8.
