Check out any “Greatest Games Ever” article and you’re likely to see The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Nintendo 64 classic captured the imaginations of millions of gamers around the world. One of those players was CryZENx, who had taken his adoration of the title a step further than most. He’s recreating the game in the Unreal Engine 4, and it looks fantastic.

We covered CryZENx’s work last year when he released a video of the remade Kokiri Forest. Unfortunately, Nintendo blocked the title on copyright grounds, but that didn’t stop CryZENx from continuing his project. Last week, the creator dropped an uncut 25 minute clip of his Ocarina of Time remake. The trailer shows off a gorgeous new version of Kakariko, including a cutscene before The Great Deku Tree. While not seen in the trailer, the demo also includes the Temple of Time.

The creator has made this playable demo available on his Patreon page. According to DualShockers, the project’s sudden popularity meant they had to wait to download the demo. He states that he plans on continuing the project’s development through next year. He hopes to make this a full-time job, which would allow him to make even more Unreal Engine 4 updates to classic titles.
