The Witcher: Ciri Joins The Fight In SoulCalibur VI
Bandai Namco recently released SoulCalibur VI, the latest entry in the series featuring two swords with intertwining destinies. While many fans have jumped immediately into the game’s primary story mode, others have been working on custom characters for the new addition to the series, Libra of Souls, which features the player’s custom character creation on a journey as they travel the world and battle against NPCs and other player-created characters. This led once such player to end up creating Ciri from The Witcher series, and the end results are seriously impressive.
A SoulCalibur VI player created a custom character within the game inspired by Ciri from The Witcher. The player then shared his creation on Reddit, stating that it was the best Ciri he could manage. Given the restrictions put in place by the custom character creator, he did a bang-up job. Check it out below:
One important aspect of the custom character creator is that it allows players to assign a specific fighting style to their creations, which in turn allowed Redditor Anemeros to assign Geralt’s fighting style to Ciri. This makes sense as Geralt is Ciri’s mentor, and it also happens to be hilarious picturing her swinging about that massive sword. Here’s the breakdown of some of the clothing pieces the Redditor used for his creation:
For those wondering, the top is Oiran Kimono. The Warlord’s Belt cuts off the lower half to make it look like a regular blouse. Also, the Silver Gauntlets cut off the excess on the sleeves. Everything else should be fairly obvious :)”
SoulCalibur VI is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
