The Last Of Us Part II Ellie Statue Highlights New Merch Line
Sony has found much success for their PlayStation platforms, largely owing thanks to their big exclusive first-party game franchises. One of their biggest crown jewels at the moment is The Last Of Us series by Naughty Dog. The long-awaited The Last Of Us Part II was one of the bestselling games last year, and HBO is hard at work on the upcoming live-action tv series adaptation of The Last Of Us. Gamers are well known for their desire to celebrate their favorite games with merchandise purchases, and now Sony has unveiled a new line of The Last Of Us Part II merchandise. This includes a brand new premium Ellie statue.
As reported by Game Informer, Sony has announced their new The Last Of Us Part II merchandise items on their official PlayStation blog. Gaming Heads, with the help of Naughty Dog providing the actual original digital models from the game, have created a new premium Ellie statue recreating her likeness from The Last Of Us Part II. The 16-inch tall statue is listed with a retail price of $529.99 and is scheduled to ship during Q4 later this year. Sony has also unveiled a new Dark Horse Direct Abby statue of a similar quality that is in the works and is scheduled to be released some time between January and March of next year.
The rest of the new merchandise line all has practical daily use, such as the new Cook and Becker notebook set that comes with notebooks themed after Ellie and Abby. Mondo has also prepared vinyl releases of The Last Of Us Part II soundtrack by Mac Quayle with brilliant artwork. Utilizing the hammer and switchblade commonly found in the game, new shirts and pencil bags are able to use these elements from the game subtly, yet stylishly for the merchandise. Lastly, new shirts, mugs and throw blankets with The Last Of Us Part II logo are also now available. These are all lovely items for any fan of the game, and they are all worth checking out and adding to your inventory for adventures across this apocalyptic world we live in.
