Last week, Insomniac Games fans were treated to some delight news on the Sunset Overdrive front. Last week, the ESRB (Enternament Software Rating Board) officially rated the action-packed third-person shooter for the Windows PC platform. Unsurprisingly, it received an M for “mature,” but it also solidified evidence that it will soon arrive. With that said, official channels have yet to announce this new direction and it remains to be seen.

Well, that is until now. A listing on SteamDB solidifies any tentative speculation on Sunset Overdrive’s debut on PC. Could this mean an official announcement is imminent? Launched exclusively for the Xbox One, it’s been 4 long years since the wild action-adventure hit the shelves.

Seeing as Microsoft will be holding their X018 event this weekend, it may not be entirely coincidental. The corporate giant may simply be placing the finishing touches on their presentation, which may very well include this Xbox One exclusive 2014 title. We have yet to hear a peep from Insomniac Games, a studio that released the phenomenally received Spider-Man for PlayStation 4.

Want to know more about the event this weekend? X018, “a global celebration of all things Xbox,” takes place this Saturday, November 10th from 3 PM to 5 PM EST. There will be live online coverage of all the features and events, which you can catch on YouTube and Mixer.
