Returnal DLC Announced For Sackboy: A Big Adventure
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the PlayStation exclusive is one of a few titles that best showcases the power of the PS5. It looks like some added incentive will be headed to the game soon, as it’s been announced by Sony that Sackboy is going to be getting a batch of Returnal DLC later this month.
Sony took to one of its Twitter accounts to announce that Housemarque’s rogue-like title Returnal will be getting a presence on Sackboy: A Big Adventure. The tweet itself shows off an outfit for Sackboy inspired by ASTRA Scout Selene, while an emote will also be accompanying the DLC when it hits the PlayStation Store on May 26. Check out the reveal below:
Strange alien planets. Odds stacked against you. Certain doom ‘round every corner.
Pfft, Sackboy was made for adventures like this. Break the cycle with this sweet costume and emote, inspired by ASTRA Scout Selene coming to Sackboy: A Big Adventure via DLC on PS Store on 26 May! pic.twitter.com/hcuYoT5Yrc

It’s currently unknown what the emote will look like, though chances are it’ll be a blend of sci-fi elements and a level of adorableness expected from the LittleBigPlanet spin-off. Those that have yet to purchase the game have a good chance to do so coming up, as Sony has announced that it will be discounting several PS4 and PS5 games as part of its Days of Play event, with Sackboy making it onto the latter’s list. Sony has yet to reveal what the discount will be, so we can only hope it’ll be a worthwhile one.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Returnal are both currently available as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
