Talks about one of the Overwatch heroes making their way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been ramping up lately, especially with the game finding a new home on the Nintendo Switch in just a few weeks. That said, while that is entirely up to Nintendo, fans are taking things into their own hands, but the other way around with Link from The Legend of Zelda coming to the popular FPS.

A recent video to appear on YouTuber Etienne POV’s channel shows Link if he were to join the roster of heroes in Overwatch. Straight out of Hyrule, the Legend of Zelda protagonist looks like he would be right at home amongst the likes of Reaper, Junkrat, and more. This was a collaborative effort from a handful of artists, which are credited in the description of the video seen below.

While we likely won’t be seeing the Legend of Zelda character making his way to Overwatch anytime soon in an official capacity, it certainly is intriguing to think about. However, there is probably a better chance that we’ll see one of the Overwatch heroes end up in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Then again, only time will tell.
