Zelina Vega Does Royal Rumble Right With This Street Fighter Cosplay
What do you get when you mix the Street Fighter series with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment)? Well, some extremely thrilled fans! This past weekend at Royal Rumble saw SmackDown Live star Zelina Vega heading into the arena dressed as none other than Vega from the Street Fighter series. Not one to bother with something as paltry as regulations, she even came packing the fighter’s iconic claws.
While oftentimes cosplayers will simply stop at dressing the part, Zelina Vega took things just a bit further by acting like Vega on her way to the ring. Rather than simply jumping into the ring, she instead crept underneath it, though Hornswoggle was seemingly waiting for her to show up, because of course he was. She didn’t have the best of times once she came face to face with the small but potent fighter, though at least she was able to ‘wow’ fans with her cosplay. Simply captioned with “V E G A,” the Twitter post came after many fans had already posted short clips of the wrestler cosplaying as the classic Street Fighter character.

The cosplay certainly couldn’t have been better timed, as Street Fighter celebrated Vega’s birthday on January 27th. It’s great to see celebrities paying homage to classic video games, and Zelina Vega certainly did it in style at Royal Rumble this past weekend.
