Yakuza 6: The Song of Life Finally Gets a Western Release Date + Collector’s Edition Revealed! (VIDEO)

After a year since its release in Japan, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life finally gets an official release date for western fans of the long-standing franchise. Those looking forward to get their gang on once more can look forward to the latest story in the series come March 20th, 2018.

For those hardcore fans of Yakuza (Hi!), Sega has also announced a special edition of the game alongside the newly cemented release date. The After Hours Premium Edition contains items appropriate to the name “After Hours”. This collector’s assortment of goodies comes with a hardcover art book, two bar glasses, ice stones to keep that whiskey chill, two coasters, and a special edition box containing the game itself. This version of the upcoming title will cost $90, whereas the standard game is the usual $60.

A new special edition and a release date aren’t the only things fans can look forward to. Following up on the announcement, Sega has also revealed a brand new trailer for the game itself that features about what you’d expect from a Yakuza video except one notable (also, adorable) difference = let there be cats! Watch the latest trailer in the video above to see what we mean.
