Xbox One Gamer Reaches New Milestone With Two Million Gamerscore
The first Xbox cons0le began shipping to the US in 2001 and worldwide in 2002, giving players plenty of time and games to rack up achievements and reach some impressive gamerscores. One player in particular has gone above and beyond however by becoming the first to reach the 2 million gamerscore mark.
One Ray Cox IV, also known as Stallion83, has been around for some time, building up a reputation as one of the top achievement hunters in the world. Previously the gamer broke the 1 million gamerscore record and vowed that he would conquer 2 million as well. With a huge following of fans watching his journey, Stallion83 was recently able to cross the threshold of 2 million gamerscore while playing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Microsoft themselves made an event out of the achievement, airing the session live on Twitch when the Xbox legend reached the newest gaming milestone.
Stallion83 mentioned that it’s been a long road that all began with a single achievement 13 years ago. Since then, he’s put in a lot of time and effort to express the amount of love and passion he has for video games, and frankly it shows.
13 years ago today I fell in love with Xbox achievements after unlocking "Cluster Buster" in Hexic HD for 5 G. Last night I unlocked this achievement in @Halo MCC that put me at exactly 2,000,000 Gamerscore. This is how I express my passion that burns from within for VIDEO GAMES pic.twitter.com/VymobeVZ5p

Cox replied to a Tweet explaining that he won’t be trying for the big 10 million gamerscore as that would take an insane amount of time and energy to pull off that he doesn’t currently have. That being said, there’s no reason to stop at merely 2 million. This begs the question, how long before Stallion83 or some other dedicated achievement hunter reaches the next milestone?
