Collector Shows Off Every 1st Party Xbox One Controller Ever Made (VIDEO)

Xbox One Controller

YouTuber EDDS-Xbox may be the foremost collector of Xbox One controllers in the world. He shared a video of his collection back in 2017, and now he’s back with an update. The gamer currently owns every first-party controller for the Xbox One ever released.

EDDS-Xbox takes viewers on a guided history tour of the Xbox One controller history. He owns over 50 of the devices and has laid them out in his living room for easy visual display. That includes the brilliant Adaptive Controller, designed to help make gaming more accessible for disabled individuals. It also includes the “I Made This” controller given to Microsoft employees upon the system’s launch.

This collections, however, does not include every Xbox One controller ever. Don’t expect to see the PUBG controller, these NFL designs, or the amazing Beavis and Butthead custom paint job. The collector explains his simple but strict criteria in the YouTube video’s description:

“Collection Criteria: I only collect 1st party unique controllers straight from the factory, so no custom painted controllers like the pizza hut, t mobile, fallout ones, etc.”

Of course, what good is a collection if the products get damaged? Over on Reddit, the controller collector answered some questions about his cache of hardware. He joked that he makes his friends bring their own controllers as he “don’t want their grubby mitts on my collection”. He also listed the Gears of War 4 Crimson Omen controller as his favorite, with the Sea of Thieves model as a “close second.” It’s hard to argue with those picks, and he would certainly know better than almost anyone around!

What do you think of his controller collection? Which of the controllers is your favorite? Let us know in the comment section below! For more gaming news and updates, be sure to follow DFTG on Facebook and Twitter!
