These Xbox One NFL Controllers Are Perfect For Any Football-Loving Gamer (GALLERY)

NFL Controllers

The Xbox Design Lab is a magical place where gamers can customize controllers to fit their needs. Mixing various colors and accessory options can be a lot of fun, especially when you are looking to beef up your collection with something truly unique. To expand upon the seemingly limitless variations available, Microsoft has now added Xbox One NFL controllers to the mix, allowing fans to sport their favorite football teams while playing video games.

Being a bit pricier than other peripherals the Design Lab offers, the NFL controllers will start at $95. Engraving, as can be seen in the image above by a Chicago Bears fan, is free and will allow gamers to have anything they want engraved between the D-pad and right thumbstick. This will be restricted to 16 characters and must abide by Microsoft’s code of conduct. An additional $6, however, will get you a rubberized grip on the back for when you get into intense battle, whether it be on the field, in the depths of space, or elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the options available for the NFL controllers are not as substantial as those being offered with other Design Lab creations. For the normal controllers, ABXY, View, and Home buttons can all be customized along with color options and the choice between normal or metallic triggers and D-pad. The NFL variants, however, only offer engraving, team choice, and the option for a rubberized back. This is likely due to the NFL wanting to keep their branding consistent across the board. Gamers can head on over to the Xbox Design Lab right now and pick up a controller branded with their favorite football team’s emblem. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news, check out the following:
