Xbox July Update Brings New Xbox Game Pass Features And Alexa Commands

Xbox

Microsoft is hard at work getting ready to launch a bunch of new titles across the year, giving players plenty of adventures to partake in for months to come. This month might be a little light on new releases but the company has recently released a new update for the month of July that brings with it features that will help players find and keep track of their next gaming obsession in the future. If you’re an Xbox Games Pass member, you’re going to want to pay attention to the Xbox July update.

This month’s update revolves around the Xbox Game Pass, bringing a new feature called “Play Later” that aims to let players do precisely what it sounds like. The feature allows users to create a list of games they want to play next within the Xbox Game Pass, making it that much easier to make a decision on what to play next or just to keep track of games that they might want to play in the future.

Alexa voice commands have been available for Xbox users since last year allowing users to navigate and interact with their Xbox One and Xbox One X though unfortunately, the feature had a limited reach. The Xbox Skill for Alexa has since grown thanks to feedback from fans, requesting support for the feature in countries all over the world. Now players in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Spain can use the Alexa Xbox Skills complete with some newly updated commands such as the ability to find out what’s new on the Xbox Game Pass or even find out what friends are playing.

The update doesn’t add too much but the additions are nice quality of life features that are sure to improve navigation through the Game Pass and even just the consoles in general.
