Xbox Game Pass Adds Final Fantasy VII HD, Darksiders: Genesis, And More
The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are due for arrival this holiday season and for those limited on fun money funds, it’s going to be a mighty difficult choice to choose between the two. With the upgrades to the Xbox Game Pass including a recent logo change and a variety of games that will receive day one launches on the subscription service, there’s plenty of gameage to look forward to in the coming years.
Of course, the Xbox Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving. For August, the team have a diverse array of titles to choose from. From an interactive survival horror game to a critically-acclaimed Japanese RPG, there’s a little something for everyone. Check them out below:
Xbox Game Pass August Additions
- Darksiders: Genesis (Console) – August 6
- It Lurks Below (Console & PC) – August 6
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (Console) – August 6
- Trailmakers (Console & POC) ID@Xbox – August 6
- Undermine (Console & PC) – August 6
- Xeno Crisis (Console & PC) ID@Xbox – August 6
- Final Fantasy VII HD (Console & PC) – August 13
Beginning August 6th, games such as Final Fantasy VII HD, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, and Darksiders: Genesis, will be added to the Xbox Game Pass. The subscription service isn’t all about offering the latest and greatest games either. There are “Ultimate Perks” that come with, including a Sea of Thieves Nightshine Parrot bundle available for download, World of Tanks’ Battle Masters Pack, and Phantasy Star Online 2’s episode 4 update bonus.
Xbox Game Pass has free content for titles such as Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and World of Warships: Legends for this month as well. Unfortunately, that means the influx of the new includes we must bid goodbye with the old. A few noteworthy titles are leaving the Xbox Game Pass as well. On August 14th, the below titles will no longer be available:
- Devil May Cry 5 (Console)
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Console & PC)
- Space Hulk: Tactics (PC)
- Where the Water Tastes Like Wine (PC)
- Yoku’s Island Express (Console & PC)
