Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Launch Trailer Is Here – First Look At Hitler In-Game (VIDEO)

Colossus Launch Trailer

This decades old franchise brings a new adventure with everyone’s favourite Nazi hunter; BJ Blazkowicz. In the latest installment from Bethesda, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, there’s a bit of a different take on US history. In this timeline, the United States didn’t win the second World War and familiar landscapes are now overrun by Nazis. Of course Blazkowicz can’t let this stand – and as to be expected; things get bloody. Check out the brand new Colossus launch trailer in the video below:

The launch trailer above brings the excitement of the brutal fire fights that one could expect from the Wolfenstein series, as well as a few interesting characters thrown into the mix. This latest video, however, shows just how messy the Nazi slaying business can get and that no man is safe from an airborne grenade.

It even showcases the man that many expected to run into this go around: Adolf Hitler himself. The former leader of the Nazi party in Germany, he makes his re-appearance in the New Colossus towards the end of the trailer and will be available for players to take out when the game releases later on this month. For those that may not be aware of the premise of The New Colossus:

America, 1961. Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.”

Wolfenstein 2 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 27th. What did you guys think of The New Colossus launch trailer? Excited to step back into the boots of Blazkowicz?
