The Witcher Netflix Series Star May Have Just Given Us Our Roach
We’ve had some rather tragic news this past month or so from the magical land of video game horses, though this horse-y story aims to keep things on a much lighter note. Netflix’s The Witcher series recently wrapped filming, which has made many begin to ask when we’ll be seeing the first full trailer for what will likely, at the very least, be a wild ride. Unfortunately I’ve got no trailer news, though we may just know which lucky horse has been cast as Geralt of Rivia’s iconic steed, Roach.
The potential news comes by way of Geralt himself, actor Henry Cavill, who recently took to Instagram to share a picture of, you guessed it, a horse. The steed in question is ebony colored and quite frankly absolutely majestic, and could easily pass for a battle hardened horse of a Witcher. Cavill does not admit anything in his post, simply stating that he loves the horse followed by a hashtag of its name. His name is Hector.

As of now there hasn’t been an official release date for The Witcher Netflix series, though many estimates have given it a window of late 2019. Additionally, a rumor has pointed out in the past that Netflix has already picked the show up for a second season, which certainly bodes well for Geralt and friends. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait too much farther into 2019 before we get our first official trailer.
The Witcher will debut on Netflix at some point in late 2019.
So, thoughts on Geralt’s possible horse? Do you think it’ll have a marginally happy ending? Let us know in the comments section below, and as always, stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers for all the latest gaming and entertainment news! Don’t forget to follow DFTG on Twitter for our 24/7 news feed!
