Witcher Characters Are Appearing In Adult Films As A Result Of This Face-Swapping AI

Witcher Characters

For those of you who have been hanging around the internet for some time, you have likely learned that nothing is sacred. If there is something that you hold near and dear to your heart, there’s a good chance that someone has turned it into an adult film. That is the case with The Witcher characters that have recently been face-swapped into more mature content via the use of artificial intelligence.

Now, it isn’t anything new to see some of our favorite video games, movies, or television shows crossed into the realm of adult films, but seeing it done this way isn’t very common. Redditor Deepfakes took to the popular forum website, spawning an entire subreddit and ultimately leading to the production of the face-swapping AI. FakeApp is the name of the tool that basically replaces one person’s face with another, allowing users to swap out just about anyone they wish as long as they have high quality video of the person they are looking to place in certain situations. Speaking with Motherboard, Deepfakes said:

I think the current version of the app is a good start, but I hope to streamline it even more in the coming days and weeks. Eventually, I want to improve it to the point where prospective users can simply select a video on their computer, download a neural network correlated to a certain face from a publicly available library, and swap the video with a different face with the press of one button.”

The technology is fairly creepy to say the least. Users were quick to put famous movie stars into random adult films, but others were more inclined to take The Witcher characters and place them in a realm not entirely unlike their own. After all, the franchise has seen its fair share of steamy scenes, but not quite like this. Below, you can see one of the more successful face-swaps that includes fan favorite Triss Merigold:

One of the other fan favorite Witcher characters to be placed in an adult film via the AI was Yennefer, but the resemblance was more on the side of generic. Of course, all of this is nothing short of weird. However, the subreddit hosting Deepfakes and FakeApp has since been banned by Reddit, so at least there is that?
