Watch: This Grappling Hook Monster Hunter World Trailer Is The Weirdest Thing You’ll See All Day
The upcoming Monster Hunter: World is sure to be filled with tons of adventure for players across the globe as they hunt down massive beasts and fly through the air with ease thanks to the game’s incorporation of a grappling hook. In order to show off the new skill, Capcom has released a new and quite strange Monster Hunter trailer specifically to show off the wonders of this aerial means of travel.
The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about grappling hooks is definitely a character that looks like he just walked off the set of a live- action One Piece set. A flamboyant, purple pirate is just the kind of thing that screams Monster Hunter, especially when that pirate has a fake parrot dressed in leopard print riding on his shoulder. In the video below, this pirate is shown the wonders of swinging from place to place in the game, which he seems to be thoroughly enjoying.
Monster Hunter: World is set to be released January 26th, 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game is also receiving a beta on PlayStation 4 consoles, which will begin on December 22nd at 11 AM CST and run through until December 26th.
