Those that play Warframe on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be excited to hear that the free-to-play game’s Shrine of The Eidolon update – which released back in February for PC players – will be available to download for free on consoles beginning next week. The Warframe Shrine of The Eidolon update adds new content to the Plains of Eidolon expansion, which introduced the ‘Ninjas in space’ player base to a new and dangerous open-world experience. Shown in the above trailer, the latest Warframe update arriving for PS4 and Xbox One next week brings with it two new Eidolon bosses, called the Gantulyst and the Hydrolyst. In addition to the new bosses, Digital Extremes has also announced that loads of balance changes are coming soon for weapons and Warframes, as well as a re-organization of the Mastery Ranking of over 150 weapons. Here’s an overview of what’s to come in this new patch:

Warframe Shrine Of The Eidolon Update

GANTULYST
Legends say the Gantulyst wields an enormous boulder for an arm and radiates powerful beams of Sentient energy. The Ostrons built a shrine in its honor hoping to gain its favor.

HYDROLYST
The Ostrons believe the Hydrolyst is an omen of impending natural disaster. Stories describe a distinct, pungent aroma that precedes the arrival of this toxic beast.

RIVEN TRANSMUTATION
If you’re worthy, you’ll receive a guaranteed Riven Transmuter from the Hydrolyst. This consumable item can transmute four Riven Mods into a brand-new Riven. Combining four Rivens of the same type (i.e Rifle, Melee, Shotgun, etc.) will result in a transmuted Riven of that type.

DRIVE THE DARGYN
Take your fight to the skies by hijacking any Dargyn in the Plains. Use these to aid in your search for the new Eidolons.

WARFRAME POWER & WEAPON CHANGES

The Warframe Shrine of The Eidolon update will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on March 6. Players that log in to check out the new content between March 6 and March 13 will be gifted with a 3-day Affinity Booster, 3 Forma, and an Exilus Adaptor. Warframe is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
