Valorant Gameplay Trailer Reveals Agent Reyna Skills, New Map (VIDEO)

Just yesterday, the folks over at Riot Games revealed a first look at Valorant’s upcoming 11th agent, who will be releasing when the FPS launches early next month. At that point still nameless, Reyna had been previously teased as being a spicy new addition to the team, though not much else was known at that point. Now, Riot has released a new gameplay trailer for Reyna featuring some of her skillset along with a first look at the game’s upcoming map.

Riot Games recently took to Twitter to unveil a new Valorant gameplay trailer featuring our first look at Reyna, the 11th playable agent. While it unfortunately isn’t a true kit reveal trailer, the clip offers a good look at at least some of Reyna’s abilities, which appear to focus on a nice blend of self-sustain and control. Check it out below:

One of the first noticeable bits of info to be gleaned from the trailer is that, when Reyna kills someone, an orb of dark matter drops on their corpse, not unlike what happens with Overwatch’s Reaper. Reyna can use an ability cast to pull said orb to her, though she can also presumably walk over it to pick it up. We later see Reyna get a kill that procs healing, and once she makes it back up to full health she gains an overheal gauge. Afterwards, she throws out a glowing purple eyeball that appears to act as some sort of blind, which she uses to land two more kills.

So, we basically have an agent that has vampirism that also lets her bank up to 50 health. So, she seems like a good time. Valorant is slated to release on June 2nd. Chances are we’ll get a full kit reveal before then.
