Uncharted Movie Wraps Filming, Mark Wahlberg Teases Sully Outfit
The video game industry seems to now be providing Hollywood with a treasure trove of franchises to be adapted into films and television series. Netflix has recently announced new series based on Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed are in the works, and the industry has been closely following the new live-action film adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise. The project has been exciting fans recently as filming was allowed to resume after a delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, and now it seems that filming has finally wrapped on the project. With Mark Wahlberg having recently revealed his mustache for the new film, now he has teased the new Sully outfit to celebrate the occasion.

Actor Mark Wahlberg recently shared a new image on his official Twitter account upon the wrapping of filming of the live-action Uncharted movie. The official Uncharted Twitter account had tweeted earlier that day a photo of the clapper board used during filming, and stated that filming on the project had finally finished. As such, Wahlberg felt the need to release a glimpse of what the new Sully outfit for the movie will look like.

Wahlberg’s Sully outfit photo puts its focus on a green button-up short-sleeve shirt hanging on a hook. This shirt seems to be quite similar to other short-sleeved button-up shirts worn by Sully throughout the Uncharted games, especially the one worn by young Sully in the Uncharted 3 flashback sequences, which would presumably be about the timeframe that this film takes place. Out of focus in the foreground of the shot also appears to be one of Sully’s signature cigars resting in an ash tray. Between this and the recent first photo of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, it seems that this film will closely match the visuals from the Uncharted games. Hopefully the film is able to get a theatrical release one day, or face the sound of death horns in a release on-demand.
