New For Honor Trailer Highlights Features of the Brand New 4v4 Tribute Mode (VIDEO)

Many changes, additions, and updates have made itself available for For Honor since its first hit the gaming scene in February. At first, there was a lot of fuss and discussion regarding whether or not the game was a pay-to-win. However, as time passed and people continue to challenge themselves, Ubisoft continues to bring in new content and that includes the latest Tribute Mode available to enjoy today.

To get a better idea about what this 4v4 new game mode is all about, Ubisoft released an introductory trailer to inform players about what to expect, which can be seen above. The focus on this new addition maintains its small-scale aspect with four players per team, where mates must work together to capture offerings located at different locations on the map. After doing so, the sacrificial lamb must race back to one of their three shrines.

Once an offering is claimed, the team gain a helpful buff to assist in furthering themselves to victory — offense (Vindicator Blessing), defense (Guardian Blessing), or awareness (Oracle Blessing). The opposing team that claims all three tributes first receives a countdown to win, but that leaves you open to attack as well. During that time, your team must defend themselves from being dominated at the last second. “Vigilance, speed, and communication” will be invaluable to coming out on top.
