Grudge & Glory – For Honor Season 3 Announced Bringing New Heroes, Maps, and More (VIDEO)

Despite a few hiccups post-launch and conflicting reviews for Ubisoft’s PvP title For Honor, that hasn’t stopped the company from contentiously building onto the game to create a better experience for players. As the game moves into its third season, the publisher just announced that this next phase is the “biggest ever” and it comes bearing new maps, new heroes, 1v1 mode, and more for gamers to battle it out. Check out the reveal trailer showing off For Honor Season 3 “Grudge & Glory” in the video below:

According to the official description – The never-ending war between Knights, Vikings and Samurai welcomes two new deadly Heroes into the fray:

  •  Highlander (Viking [Class]) – Stoic and guarded, Highlanders are patient heroes capable of switching between two different fighting forms. Their defensive form allows for counter-attacking and trading blows, while their offensive form empowers them to unleash their deadliest attacks at the expense of being able to block. Wielding the heaviest and longest sword in the game, the Highlander’s massive claymore gives them a deadly combination of strength and range.
  • Gladiator (Knight [Class]) – Wielding a trident and shield, the Gladiator has made a living off of killing for sport, they now bring their ruthlessness and skill to war. Fighters by trade, they are brash and boastful; equipped with little armor, they can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns. Their larger stamina meter and reduced cool down times make them extremely agile and dangerous opponents.

All of the new maps and updates for Season 3 will be free for all For Honor players. For season pass holders, the Highlander and Gladiator class will be available as soon as August 15th versus the August 22nd date for everyone else. For non-season pass owners, those additional classes can be unlocked with 15,000 steel.

For Honor Grudge & Glory season 3 kicks off on August 15th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Will you be battling it out in Ubisoft’s PvP arena?
