Twitch Prime Rewards Reveals New Free Games, Other Goodies For April
The Twitch Prime program has come quite a long way since its beginnings, providing fans with chances to collect on some awesome loot such as cosmetics and gear for various games. This month, the platform is giving players a chance to get in on some especially nifty items such as the hilarious DOOMicorn skin for gritty and hellish DOOM Eternal. On top of in-game items, there will also be some free games available this month to provide fans with a healthy mix of classic and more modern titles.
The free games arriving this April has Twitch Prime Rewards jumping all over the place in both age and genre. The classic time-traveling dinosaur hunting title Turok will be available alongside Etherborn, an environmental platformer focusing on gravity, and Earthlock, a cartoony turn-based RPG telling the tale of an adventurer who becomes embroiled in a conflict with an empire among his usual adventures. Also arriving is a shadowy puzzle game called Light Matter, as well as a point-and-click mystery adventure called Kathy Rain.
There are still plenty of in-game items for players to collect as well for titles such as Apex Legends, Borderlands 3, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Teamfight Tactics, and more. Fans hoping to collect on all the free goodies can do so by logging in to their Twitch Prime accounts, finding the loot they want, and following the instructions given to obtain their loot. Usually, this means the user needs to make sure their accounts are linked with the same accounts as the game the rewards are for.
Twitch isn’t the only company dealing out free games either, as Xbox Games with Gold also has a nice selection of titles just waiting for players to try. What sort of games are you hoping you can try out for free? Let us know your thoughts on this month’s Twitch Prime rewards and more in the comments section below.
