DOOM Eternal Reveals The DOOMicorn And More Cosmetic Skins (VIDEO)
Doomguy has certainly changed over the course of the DOOM series. From the iconic armor and helmet combo of the DOOM Marine to the Praetor suit worn by the DOOM Slayer in the rebooted series, there’s something to be said for the tastes of one who slays the demons of Hell. For the upcoming DOOM Eternal, it looks like players will have even more options to deck out their Slayer’s appearance.
A new trailer has arrived showing off a series of different skins players will be able to acquire and use, from a classic Doomguy look to a flaming Praetor suit, and a wide variety of colors. The game will also feature a variety of other cosmetic items to unlock such as animations and podiums on top of the skins to give players a good sense of personalization. There will also be plenty of customization options available for the playable Demons of DOOM Eternal’s Battlemode. Check it out below.
Bethesda also recently revealed a bit more information concerning a particularly unusual skin themed after a unicorn, with it covered with white and pink coloration as well as a unicorn’s head and wings. According to Bethesda, the skin will only be available for players who link their Bethesda and Twitch accounts, the skin redeemed alongside a whole host of goodies such as a Twitch colored variant of the unicorn skin, nameplates, player icons, and victory animations all within a single pack dubbed the “DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection.” All this will be available for players to pick up between March 20th and April 21st.
