This Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Mandalorian Mod Is The Way (VIDEO)

Mandalorian mod

2020 is finally almost over and while many have found much of this year to be rather dreadful, one good thing it leaves us with is The Mandalorian season 2. With the return of everyone’s favorite bucket-headed warrior and his adorable green child comes plenty of new memes, as well as several new cross-promotional tie-ins. While there is no Mandalorian video game just yet, content from the Disney+ original series recently made its way to Star Wars: Squadrons and Minecraft. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a new entry in the Star Wars saga last year that similarly won over fans in a big way, and now a talented modder has created a Mandalorian mod that brings Din Djarin to the game.

Modder AlexPo released their new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Mandalorian mod on Nexus Mods for the public to freely use. Featuring Din Djarin in his season 2 Beskar armor, AlexPo re-created the digital model from scratch, foregoing the use of assets from other in-game characters to ensure screen accuracy. The mod also allows for the player to choose whether or not they wish to wear Mando’s iconic cape and jetpack in any combination. When playing, the avatar will still use Cal Kestis’s lightsaber by default, but some players have substituted a pre-existing Darksaber mod to reflect what some fans hope to see in the current season of the show.

Suggested by AlexPo, another pre-existing mod that some players have used in-tandem with this Mandalorian mod is a voice-changing mod that makes Cal Kestis’s recorded dialogue sound like it is being said from underneath a helmet. This mod was originally meant for Stormtrooper skin mods made for the game, but the effect sounds similar to Pedro Pascal’s muffled voice in the Mandalorian show. In addition, AlexPo hopes to have functioning blaster and jetpack mods in the future, but for now, this mod is more than enough to make Mandalorian fans feel like they’re part of the Clan of Two. This is the Way, indeed.
