PlayStation Plus Free Games For December 2020 Revealed

As the end of the month draws near, both Microsoft and Sony have begun to announce what to expect from their subscription service-related goodies for the month of December. To that end, Sony has announced its latest batch of free PlayStation Plus games for next month, and it appears to be a healthy mix of multiplayer and single player antics.

Sony took to its PlayStation Blog site today to reveal what’s to come for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of December. On the multiplayer side of things, subscribers will be able to snag both Worms Rumble and Rocket Arena for free next month. Just Cause 4 rounds things out on the single player side of things. Here’s the breakdown of each title alongside their accompanying trailer:

“Get ready to rumble in Deathmatch or Last Worm Standing modes where you’re only ever a Holy Hand Grenade away from death! Use a variety of fan-favourite weapons like the Bazooka and Shotgun plus all-new additions to the armoury to bring the pain to your invertebrate opponents as you climb the ranks. Customise your worm, take part in challenges and seasonal events and experiment with new ways to play in The Lab. This is Worms, reinvented.”

“Rockets rule everything in Rocket Arena, an explosive 3v3 shooter where you’re never out of the action. Master your hero’s unique rockets and abilities to rule the arena and become a champion! Try out an ever-growing roster of fantastic heroes with distinctive powers. Unearth new strategies and tactics based on your squad, explore a wide variety of dynamic maps, and discover the true depth of rocket gameplay. Ready to be blown away?”

“Jump into an action-packed open-world sandbox experience and cause chaos with a wide selection of weaponry, vehicles and gear as Rico Rodriguez skydives into the exotic climes of South America. Explore the remote South American country of Solís, 1024 square kilometres of exotic playground, from rainforest, to desert, to snowy mountain peaks, brooding with conflict, secrets and untold danger. Fight Black Hand, a tech-driven private military organisation, under terrifying environmental conditions, including treacherous tornadoes and tropical lightning storms, and use never-before-seen in-game physics to turn the extreme weather to your advantage. Strap into your wingsuit, equip your fully customizable grappling hook, and get ready to bring the thunder! ”

All of the above PlayStation Plus titles will be available for download starting on December 1st.
