The Witcher Netflix Showrunner Releases New Season 2 Set Photo, Inspirational Message

Last time we heard from Netflix’s The Witcher series, season 2’s production was unfortunately shut down due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The show’s indefinite delay came just weeks after the majority of the show’s new cast additions had been revealed, adding more sadness given what we’ve been told to look forward to in a now delayed season. Thankfully, showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich seems to understand our pain, as she has recently released a new set photo from season 2 of The Witcher alongside a heartwarming message to the fans.

Lauren S. Hissrich recently took to Twitter to send out a #tbt from one month ago on the set of Netflix’s The Witcher series. The set photo itself doesn’t reveal much – it’s a fairly simple forest shot – though in this case the message relayed is plentiful enough. Check it out below:

It is still unclear as to when we can expect season 2 to resume production, though, as Lauren S. Hissrich said, the sun will indeed rise again. “Until then, stay home and stay safe.” Season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher series will release at some point in the future via the streaming platform.
