The Witcher Fan Art Reunites Jason Momoa With Henry Cavill
It looks like another Game of Thrones alum may be interested in joining Henry Cavill in Netflix’s The Witcher series! Recently, a fan of the popular series shared an image they created that showed Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill back-to-back, which may have come about due to previous rumors suggesting that the Aquaman star had been cast in The Witcher prequel series, Blood Origin.
Adding some jet fuel to the proverbial fire is Jason Momoa himself who took to his Instagram this week to share the image, tagging Henry Cavill with a coy “what’s up homie”. The image itself looks good enough to be official artwork, with Netflix’s logo even gracing the top left corner. Check it out below:
Given the wildcard nature of Jason Momoa, there’s every possibility that he’s just having fun with a fellow actor and former co-star. Still, we know that Momoa’s fellow Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju has been cast as Nivellen in The Witcher Season 2, so there’s every possibility that Momoa may also be making some sort of appearance, whether it be in Season 2 or during the prequel series. At least, in the meantime, the bromance between Momoa and Henry Cavill should keep us entertained.
Netflix’s The Witcher Season 2 is currently in production.
