Suicide Squad Game, Gotham Knights Confirmed For DC FanDome

Suicide Squad Game Kill the Justice League

As major media companies continue to hold digital events for their biggest announcements rather than in-person ones, pandemic-era practices look to be returning for this year as well. Last August, Warner Bros. found success in holding a digital showcase for its entire DC comics multimedia world. Two particular DC projects fans have wanted to hear about have been Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad game and WB Montreal’s new Gotham Knights game in the works. To cultivate fan excitement and attention for the event, Warner Bros. has now confirmed that both games will indeed be showcased during the DC FanDome schedule.

Warner Bros. updated the DC Comics website with new information about which DC projects will have the spotlight during the big DC FanDome digital event. While the weekend’s big showcase items are blockbuster DCEU films in the works like The Batman starring Robert Pattinson and Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson, the other media branches of the DC landscape will hold a similarly significant space. As such, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the Gotham Knights game will be present during the weekend as well.

DC FanDome is set to commence Saturday, October 16th at 10 a.m. PDT, and promises both games will have significant reveals made during the weekend-long event. It is expected that development members at Warner Bros. Montreal and Rocksteady will be on hand to make these reveals for the Gotham Knights game and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, respectively. What exactly will be revealed during their portions of the livestream is not yet known, but it is good to know that Warner Bros. has not yet forgotten about these projects since announcing them at last year’s event. I mean, to not promote your game is absolute suicide…squad.
