Stardew Valley Coming To PlayStation Vita Later This Month

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is an indie- farming simulator that has captured the hearts of many fans. The game has done well on all of the platforms it’s been released on so far and today the game’s publisher Chucklefish has announced that the sim title would be arriving on another platform soon. According to the game’s creator ConcernedApe (via the game’s blog), beginning May 22nd players will be able to start their own farming adventure on the PlayStation Vita.

The title will support “cross-buy” which allows players who own the game on the PlayStation 4 to download and play on the Vita for farming on the go. Chucklefish also revealed that while the 1.3 multiplayer update would be arriving soon on the PlayStation 4, it would not not be available at release for the handheld.

The game sees players inheriting their Grandfather’s farm out in the country. Fed up with the hum and drum of everyday life in the city, they move out to the old plot of land to begin a new life armed only with a few coins and a some hand-me-down tools. Players are able to take part in various activities such as growing crops, fishing, raising animals, crafting machines for farming, and much more. There’s a ton of customization to be had, villagers to interact with and even a few which can be dated and eventually start a family with.

Stardew Valley is available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Let us know your thoughts on the title arriving on the PlayStation Vita and more in the comments section below.
