Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Will Contain Elements From Knights Of The Old Republic

It is undeniably a very exciting time to be a Star Wars fan. Earlier this week, Respawn Entertainment released a brand new trailer for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order during the Xbox briefing for E3 2019, showing off our first real meaty look at the game’s combat system. Now that we’ve had a good look at combat, fans have begun to wonder what other facets of the game we have to look forward to, and whether or not we’ll see some familiar faces on our journey. Now, it has been revealed that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will actually feature some elements from the Knights of the Old Republic Games.

The news comes by way of IGN, which reported that the game’s protagonist, Cal, won’t just be running around stabbing stormtroopers and droids the whole game. The busy guy will also need a place to hang his hat, and it looks like he’ll be traveling in style in a hub ship not unlike the one featured in the KOTOR games, the Ebon Hawk. The game’s as yet unannounced hub ship will be used to fly Cal from planet to planet, with the ability to go back and explore planets that were previously visited during the story. While on the ship, Cal will be able to speak with the other NPCs aboard, as well as engaging in other activities.

Overall, it appears that Respawn is definitely pulling the ‘right’ elements from other Star Wars games, even going so far as to yanking a character or two from Rogue One. Here’s hoping the title will stick the landing when it releases on November 15 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

So, thoughts on the latest reveal? What kind of ship do you think will serve as Cal’s hub ship?
