Star Wars Battlefront II Adds General Grievous (VIDEO)
Star Wars Battlefront II is currently in the midst of bringing ‘The Clone Wars’ into the saga-spanning shooter, last having introduced an array of Clone Troopers into the proceedings. Following the recent rollout of a new roadmap and a myriad of events, the time has come to introduce the game’s next big character: the four-bladed droid commander General Grievous.
The Jedi-hunting general is one of the Star Wars franchise’s most distinct characters and as such possesses a number of unique traits in Battlefront II. Grievous’ most apparent advantage is his taller-than-average height as well as the fighter’s four, lightsaber-wielding arms. Check him out in action in the video below.
This multi-weapon layout utilizes dual sabers for base attacks and defensive moves, only equipping the full four when unleashing his signature Abilities. These include the lunging Thrust Surge attack, the saber-spinning Unrelenting Advance, and the escape-enabling Claw Rush ability, coming in handy for those overwhelming situations.
Starting October 30th, General Grievous will be included among the villain roster of Star Wars Battlefront II, sporting his battle-damaged look from ‘Revenge of the Sith.’ A second Appearance for Grievous will become available on November 28th, as part of the upcoming Battle of Geonosis update, which also brings the long-awaited addition of Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Geonosis map to Galactic Assault mode.
Good idea.
