Spyro Reignited Trilogy Gets 12 Minutes Of New Gameplay (VIDEO)
Fans of Spyro the Dragon were elated to discover that the trilogy would be getting a remaster in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The remaster would feature the first three games in the series, recreated with updated graphics for fans to enjoy. Some of the fine people at Toys for Bob, the developers of the remaster, joined Playstation Underground to give fans a peek into the progress with 12 minutes of gameplay in Spyro 2.
As seen in the video below, Spyro Reignited has undergone some incredible changes in graphics. The team had to first create a tool to extract assets and placements before they could begin the development. Without access to the original source material, the team was inventive in their approach and fans can see that for themselves below:
Spyro Reignited includes Spyro 1, Spyro 2, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The game includes several different game mechanics, including puzzles, combat, exploration, and RPG elements making it a well rounded and diverse game. Players old and new will get the chance to experience Spyro like never before!
Fans looking to get their hands on this title might be excited to know that the previously exclusive PlayStation title will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players can pre-order a copy here, or anywhere they like to purchase games. Spyro Reignited will be available for both consoles on September 21st, 2018.
