South Park Mocks Fortnite Players In Latest Episode (VIDEO)

Not unlike the internet rule of 34, nothing is considered sacred ground when it comes to material used for a South Park episode. From the ridicule of every religion under the sun, social cliques, both unoriginal and creative ideas from the development team, there’s no stopping a parody. This also includes Epic Games’ ridiculously successful video game, Fortnite.

Originally recognized for its player versus environment game mode, Fortnite has now gained wild success for battle royale. With continuous updates and even celebrity publicity, it’s the biggest name in the industry. So much so that the creators of South Park had to dip their toes into the craze. During the premiere of their 22nd season last week, South Park makes a sly remark that pokes fun at the Fortnite playerbase, which predominately consists of teens and children. Check it out below:

That’s not to say adults don’t play Fortnite, but you get the drift. Without spoiling the contents of the first episode of season 22 for those who have yet to view it, it’s all about the current events surrounding children of the United States. Above it all though, Cartman has a problem and it has to do with failing math. Of course, Token is to blame. Meanwhile, Stan’s mom and dad Sharon and Randy are having a rough time getting on the same page. Is it menopause or is there a bigger issue at hand?
