Sekiro Player Beats Final Boss Using Only Prosthetics (VIDEO)
Even though games like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice have proven to be quite difficult and worthy of the ‘souls-like’ categorization, that hasn’t stopped fans from trying to make said games even more difficult with self-imposed rules to bring new challenges to their play. From playthroughs that don’t use any upgraded skills to speedruns, it’s impressive what some people are able to accomplish. Now, one fan has managed to fight and win against the final boss of Sekiro, using only Prosthetic skills.
There are a lot of abilities the One-Armed Wolf can utilize when taking down enemies from slashes with a Sword to skills in stealth, martial arts, and more. Redditor tricky_toy, however, has chosen the path of the prosthetic arts, using only abilities that utilize the prosthetic arm of the protagonist as well as well-timed deflections to defeat Isshin, the Sword Saint. The player began the fight using the Ceremonial Tanto allowing them to sacrifice a large portion of their health for an increased number of Spirit Emblems, something that is essential for a fight involving only prosthetics. Afterwards, the player can be seen utilizing the Lazulite Sabimaru, Spiral Spear, and Aged Mist Raven Feathers abilities throughout the fight while occasionally deflecting some of Isshin’s blows.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. While one might be able to say that the battle wasn’t truly a “prosthetics only” fight because of the deflections its hard to deny that the feat is quite impressive.
