Resident Evil 3 Remake Special Preorder PS4 Theme Revealed (VIDEO)

Resident Evil 3 Remake Special Preorder PS4 Theme Revealed (VIDEO)

The highly anticipated Resident Evil 3 Remake is currently in development by Capcom, with the studio promising that fans can expect a more action-oriented experience in comparison to the original game. Since we can now say that the title is slated to arrive later ‘this year’, Capcom has revealed a special PS4 theme for the game that will only be available for those that pre-order it ahead of launch.

YouTuber RenkaWong showed off the new Resident Evil 3 Remake PS4 theme in a video clip that shows the theme in action. Unlike several other bonus PS4 preorder themes out there, this one is unfortunately static rather than dynamic, though the background music is cool enough to make up for it. Check it out below:

Curious about what to expect from the Resident Evil 3 Remake? Here’s the official blurb from Capcom:

“Jill’s harrowing experiences in Resident Evil 3 take place in the nightmarish hours leading up to and following the events in Resident Evil 2, shedding new light on the plight of Raccoon City’s residents. Every hope of escape is cut off by another star in the Resident Evil franchise: the towering Bio Organic Weapon Nemesis. This brutal yet intelligent monstrosity uses an arsenal of high-powered weaponry to indiscriminately eliminate any surviving S.T.A.R.S. members in the city–with Jill being his final target.”

The Resident Evil 3 Remake is slated to release on April 3rd, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. My review of the Resident Evil 2 Remake can be read right here.
