The adventure tells the tale of a Japanese Prince who was sent away by his father to train as a samurai in order to be able to wield a magic sword which could defeat and imprison an evil being by the name of Aku. Upon returning to his home the Prince faces and nearly defeats the shapeshifting demon however before the prince can strike the final blow Aku opens a portal through time which sends the hero into the distant future. The hero who takes up the name Jack must travel back to his time in order to finally defeat Aku once and for all.
