Resident Evil 2 Remake Reveals Five New Gameplay Teases (VIDEO)
The horrific infected of the Resident Evil series are getting resurrected for next year’s Resident Evil 2 remake, the upcoming entry being the subject of great anticipation. Reasoning for all the monstrous fervor has been its complete remastering from the ground up, with impressive overhauls being made to graphics, gameplay, and even the game’s original story.
As the title’s being touted a whole new experience, Capcom has released no shortage of Resident Evil 2 gameplay showing off the various updates being implemented this time around. Even as the game’s release creeps closer, the steady outpour of footage doesn’t look to be halting anytime soon, the game having recently revealed five short gameplay videos.
Seen in the playlist above, main characters Leon and Claire roam the game’s darkened halls preparing for the inevitable creature to jump out and attack. We get looks at Leon cycling through some weapons and getting a few rounds out at the gun range, while Claire is seen discovering a few map secrets as well as getting happy with some explosives.
With the new Resident Evil 2 just around the corner, potential details about the game have been coming out over the last few weeks. Evidence has been pointing to an imminent demo release, the title’s rating suggests microtransactions may have a presence, and a number of special DLC outfits have also been given the spotlight.
The Resident Evil 2 remake releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on on January 25th.
