Release Dates Announced for Resident Evil: Vendetta Digital and DVD/Blu-Ray Versions
Resident Evil: Vendetta is a computer-generated imagery(CGI) film that is set to hit theaters in Japan on May 27. It will also be coming to North America for a one-night screening at select theaters on June 19. Shortly after the screening event in the west, fans will be able to enjoy the CG film in the comfort of their own homes. And by shortly, we mean the next day. That’s right. The dates have been announced for the Resident Evil: Vendetta digital, DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Blu-ray releases.
Arriving on June 20, the day after the one-night showing of the film, the Vendetta digital version will be released. One month later, on July 18, the physical copies of the CG film will be released. Each version contains bonus content of some kind. DVD buyers will get a gallery and commentary, while those who pick up the Vendetta digital edition will receive the same, but also three featurettes. For fans that pick up either of the Blu-ray copies, you’ll be treated to even more featurettes. Check out the list below:

Best Buy will have an exclusive steelbook edition of the 4K Blu-ray version, which, as seen above, contains all sorts of goodies. There’s no word as to what people will be paying for the Resident Evil: Vendetta digital or physical copies, but that is sure to be released at some point before the film arrives.
