Red Dead Redemption 2 Features A Selfie Mode
Selfie modes are in and so are photo modes. Though the past few years have proven this already, Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man proved this to be a hit feature for the spidey sensation. It looks like this feature will find its way into the western, gun-slinging sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar Games.
Thanks to a heads up from GameSpot, it turns out Rockstar Games is jumping on board with the selfie mode feature. With that said, it’s not a given at the start of the game – players will have to earn it after accomplishing a specific mission. After that, it’s all fair game. Take a scenic shot of the main protagonist, Arthur Morgan, surrounded by nature and local landscapes. Unlike the selfie mode in Spider-Man and Grand Theft Auto V, it’s more of a self portrait. The line between the two are thin, but they’re distinct enough to differentiate.
Celebrate new comrades and allies with a self-portrait, or immortalize a hilarious glitch on a whim. Thankfully, it’s Red Dead Redemption 2’s selfie feature is streamlined and easy to use. Available at the player’s disposal are various poses and expressions to choose from to add a whimsical flair.
