PUBG Xbox One Edition To Feature Exclusive Cosmetic Packs (GALLERY)
We have some exciting news for those looking forward to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’s imminent arrival on the Xbox One. According to Microsoft, the publisher is celebrating the upcoming PUBG Xbox One launch by releasing three limited-edition cosmetic packs, each of which will be released one at a time. Starting tomorrow December 7, one cosmetic pack will be available for purchase each week, with the release dates falling on December 7, December 14, and December 21. There is a time window to purchase each pack of a mere three days before the cosmetic pack goes away for good. Here is the breakdown of what each pack contains, what it costs, and when it can be purchased.
PUBG Warrior Pack (Left Picture) ($9.99) December 7-10:
- Balaclava Hat
- Camo t-shirt
- Pants
- Tennis shoes
PUBG Accessory Pack (Center Picture) ($4.99) December 14-17:
- Green Camo Hat
- Green Camo Gloves
PUBG Tracksuit Pack (Right Picture) ($4.99) December 21-24:
- Tracksuit top
- Tracksuit pants
It is important to keep an eye on the above date ranges, as according to Microsoft’s Xbox Wire post these will be the only purchasable cosmetic items for the PUBG Xbox One Game Preview version.
These packs are exclusive to Xbox fans as standalone offers available for a limited time and as there are no plans to feature any in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version, are the only items that can be purchased during the preview period. Make sure to get yours while you can!”
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available for PC through Steam. The console exclusive Xbox One Game Preview version launches on December 12, 2017. An ‘enhanced’ version of PUBG will also be made available for the Xbox One X at a later date. It will be surprising if such a hit title like PUBG remains a console exclusive for Microsoft, though there has been no word on any talks between PUBG developer Bluehole and Sony thus far. For those looking for more PUBG action, a live presentation of the game’s new desert map will air during The Game Awards 2017.
