PUBG’s Miramar Map Set To Arrive On Xbox One Next Month
During a panel at this year’s PAX East featuring Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb and Joel, Deadmau5, Zimmerman, it was revealed by PUBG game director Brendan Greene that the Xbox One version of the title would be finally be getting the desert map known as Miramar.
Currently the only map on the Xbox One is the original Erangel, a fictional abandoned island in the Black Sea near Russia. Xbox One players will be able to experience the desert map of Miramar for themselves coming up soon for the month of May. The map itself is themed afterCentral America featuring desert plateaus, canyons, dense urban environments, and much more.
Alongside the news of the Miramar map arriving, fans were also treated to a fun Celebrity playthrough with deadmau5 as he took on PUBG though Larry Hyrb’s account. While his performance was a little underwhelming, it was entertaining nonetheless. If you weren’t able to catch the panel for yourself it is viewable on the official PAX Twitch channel, which can be found here.
PC players have had the Miramar map for quite some time and there is currently a three day long event called Tequila Sunrise that sends players into the desert with only shotguns and melee weapons in four man squads.
