Pokémon x Adidas Collaboration Brings Some Sick Style For Trainers
Over the years, Adidas has launched many impressive lineups of collaboration apparel such as shoes, streetwear, and more. These have brought buyers unique ways to support various movements and causes or even simply provided fans with fashion themed around pop culture icons like Star Wars and Dragon Ball Z. The company notably partnered with Pokémon earlier this year to bring fans a whole line of apparel for the aspiring trainers in the world. Now, Adidas is doing another collaboration with the Pokémon franchise featuring some slick kicks for fans to show off to all their friends.
The Pokémon x Adidas collaboration brings fans a snazzy pair of yellow Adilette Shower Slides, complete with one of the most recognizable characters from the franchise: Pikachu. Available for the price of $20 USD, these sandals are meant for the feet of children and sadly, it appears that they’re not available at the moment either. Fans of this collaboration may find better luck in the Pokémon-themed Hoops Mid 2.0, with these sick children’s high-top basketball shoes currently on sale for $39 USD.
There is still no word as to when the Pikachu slides will be back on the shelves, but they’re likely to sell out again soon after they’re in stock. It’s a little disappointing that the latest Pokémon collaboration doesn’t feature anything for adults, but there have been plenty of goodies from the franchise that have shown up in the Adidas store in the past. Perhaps, more will be brought in soon.
