PlayStation Pulse 3D Midnight Black Wireless Headset Revealed (VIDEO)
The folks over at Sony have finally gotten around to making new gaming peripherals that match the color of the Midnight Black DualSense controller that was released earlier this year. The accessory in question is none other than the PlayStation Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, and Sony has announced that it will be available as soon as next month.
Sony took to its official blog site to reveal the new Midnight Black-colored PlayStation Pulse 3D Wireless Headset. As with its more basic-colored predecessor, the new headset has been “designed to take full advantage of the console’s Tempest 3D AudioTech, with a fine-tuned frequency response to help players more precisely place sounds in exact locations to match on-screen gameplay.” Check out the reveal trailer for the headset below:

The announcement of the new color couldn’t be better timed. Today marks the release of the latest PlayStation 5 system update that brings with it a suite of new features and enhancements, one of which is the implementation of equalizer settings for the PlayStation Pulse 3D Wireless headset. That’s on top of the already available preset options for the headset: Standard, Bass Boost, and Shooter.
Those looking to pre-order the new PlayStation Pulse 3D Midnight Black Wireless Headset can do so right here for $99.99. The headset will be releasing on October 22, 2021.
